Knights of Peter Claver looking for members
Although you are probably familiar with the Knights of Columbus, you may not be aware of another group of Knights in the Diocese of Lansing – the Knights of Peter Claver. The KPC are looking for new members to start a court and council in Lansing. The organization is open to men and women of all races, and includes a junior and senior division. The Knights of Peter Claver are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year – their patron is St. Peter Claver, who carried on an apostolate to black slaves in Colombia in the 17th century. Vatican International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles
     It is coming to St. Patrick, Ann Arbor. Reserve the date and join us! The exhibition is an extensive collection of photographs and historical records presenting a sampling of ancient and modern eucharistic miracles that have taken place in various parts of the world. All the miracles in the exhibition are church approved. The exhibition has been to more than 500 parishes in Italy and is currently traveling around the world.
    A eucharistic miracle is any miracle concerning the Eucharist, though one of the most well known type of eucharistic miracle occurs when the sacred species turn into physical, carnal flesh and blood miraculously (as opposed to the Lord’s real but sacramental presence in the consecrated host).

Spiritual Formation Program
    It’s not too late to sign up for the Spiritual Formation Program! Three sites host Foundations the first step to a three-year journey to become a spiritual director. This program can be taken on its own or with the intent to go on to the two-year Spiritual Direction Practicum.  Foundations is a serious reflective study of the saints and spiritual teachers of the Christian tradition, the practice of contemplative prayer and the writing and living of a personal Rule of Life. Presenters are local, regional and national professional ministers chosen not only for their academic background but because they live the spirituality they teach.  
    This program will especially benefit people for whom spiritual guidance or spiritual friendship and companioning are auxiliary or new to their ministry: ministers, pastors, pastoral ministers, pastoral care chaplains, mental health workers, campus ministers, nursing and medical professionals, religious education directors, parish visitation volunteers and R.C.I.A. team members, many of whom have received ministry training but wish to deepen and grow in their interior freedom and oneness with God.
